Introduction

Hakuna Botata is the maker name we (my wife J. and myself A.) gave to our little game called Birthday Game Maker and its pair The Gift App. Our App/Service is provided free of charge and intended for use as is.

What we collect

When you choose to share your customized game, we store your selected photo and inserted texts in our secure server. We do not collect anything else, or at least we are unaware that we do so.

Why we collect

We store the photo and texts that you submit in order to provide you with a shareable link. The link allows its receiver to download your customizations (photos and texts) and play your customized game. We do not use this data for any other purpose.

How long we keep the data

The game customization data is kept for 30 days from the time you choose to create a share-able link to your customized game. After that, it is automatically deleted.

Opting out

If you would like to delete your data sooner, please write to us using this email template. Please include the customization link.

Whom we share the data with

We do not share your game customization data (photos and texts you submit) with anyone. Only you choose who you share your customized game link with.

Changes to this policy

Please check back periodically to stay updated on changes to this policy. If there would be amendments that significantly change the purpose of collecting your data, we will update you through the app. By continuing to use our Service, you are agreeing to be bound by the latest version of this policy.
